Ingredients

Instructions
To begin, preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F/Gas Mark 3). Place the chocolate chip cookies onto a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the oven and leave to cool. Meanwhile, break the dark chocolate into small pieces and place into a heatproof bowl. Heat the milk and cream in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Layer the chocolate chip cookie pieces in the bottom of a trifle dish. Pour over the chocolate mixture and spread evenly. Place the trifle dish in the fridge and leave to set for at least 2 hours.
