Instructions

In a separate bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites on high speed until they are frothy. Add the granulated sugar, cream of tartar, and salt, and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.

Add the dry ingredients to the egg whites and fold together until a thick, glossy batter forms. Transfer the batter to a pastry bag fitted with a 1/2-inch round tip.
